Dear Sharon and Alistair.

Can I say a big thank you for last week end? We had a wonderful time and your hospitality made the week end a treat and your staff were so kind and helpful.

I know that Sam and Bena had a wonderful time and the guest have nothing but good reports about the hotel and the lodge. I for one will definately be back (to room 111 hopefully ) with that beautiful view.

Thank you once again and look forward to returning in the near future.

My wife and I and two children and two dogs have just returned home after spending Friday and Saturday night with you in your charming Inn. Just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful weekend (celebrating my birthday). The food and accommodation were first class and your staff are to be commended. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome, even our dogs. Even despite the storm last night resulting in the power cut today it was quite festive to come down to breakfast by candlelight. In my experience people are always quick to complain when things go wrong but don’t always take the time to comment when they are very good. Keep up the good service and we shall see you again in 2012. Thanks again.

New Year 2011
Hi Sharon, well it was one hell of a weekend and most enjoyable.. we had a very good run down and the Glen was passable but quite white and slushy. We were back here by 11.30am..ish.. You really put on a great weekend of food and entertainment and the guest and customers were very friendly and fun... If your in touch with any of them please pass on our good wishes to them for such a great weekend. – Well it looks like we’re planning another trip up later in the yr.. keep in touch..all the very best to you and all the staff. We stayed with you Sat and Sun night- 20/21August.
I just wanted to say how fantastic our stay was. The room was lovely, the setting beautiful but above all myself and my husband would like to thank the staff for all their loveliness and professionalism. The Australian (apologies if from New Zealand!) waiter was fantastic and really knew his stuff.
Thank you for a brilliant birthday trip away- it was completely worth the 800 mile journey.

Glorious Gairloch
The Old Inn combines traditional Scottish hospitality with thoroughly modern standards of accommodation, service and food.
The food was of excellent quality, adding original touches to traditional meals. Mussels in garlic butter - could have been somewhere on the Mediterranean.
And how could I criticise an Inn which has a microbrewery in the car park ! (May 2011 )

Thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening and a fantastic meal - the lamb was outstanding and I think our girls had a particularly great time in the bar - the music was a big hit! (September 2010)

We wanted to drop you a wee line or two just to let you know how much we enjoyed our New Year break and how much we appreciated the efforts of yourself and all of the staff. The service from everyone was really first class. Everyone took time to chat and made our stay extra special. (New Year 2011)
